INDIANAPOLIS, IN The Force (6-1) bounced back from last week's overtime loss with a resounding win over the Indy Crash. The Chicago offense generated 478 yards and added another 159 yards in the return game.

Quarterback Rachel Gore rushed for 3 touchdowns, and also threw for 280 yards and 3 touchdowns - one each to Jamie Fornal, Cassey Brick and Brandy Hatcher. Fornal had a career night with 5 receptions for 139 yards, a 64 yard rushing TD and 124 yards in the return game and a whopping total of 345 yards. She capped that off with two 2 point conversions.

Running backs Cassey Brick and Brandy Hatcher each added a rushing TD to complete the scoring. Chicago's defense was without several starters, but still held Indy to just 50 yards of total offense. Top tacklers on the evening were Elisha Okrey, Jill Airaki and Fornal - who also had an interception.

Indy's only score came in the final minutes of the game and was aided by four penalties.

Force Head Coach John Konecki was frustrated at the onset when his team squandered two scoring opportunities in the first quarter. "We started out slow but as the game progressed, the players began to pick up the pace and play more crisply. All three phases of the game contributed to this win."

Chicago is now 6-1 and winners of the Great Lakes division. The final regular season game is at home this Saturday June 13th versus the St. Louis Slam at Lane Tech Stadium, kickoff is at 5pm. St. Louis are winners of their Great Plains division and are also 6-1. This game has major playoff implications for both teams, a win for either team could secure first round hosting rights. Any additional playoff games will be on the road.
